Daniela
Messina was born in Rome on 15 December 1972. For a period she
studied chemistry then she went to the International
Comics School and got the Certificate in 1998.
Hers
polyhedric
interests carry out Daniela to test several kinds of art: from comics to
painting, from sculpture to poetry. She
worked like freelance designer for some advertising agencies,
publishers, internet web sites, self productions, etc.
She
has published
hers poetries on several contemporary poets' anthologies.
She
makes
artistic handicrafts object and portraits.
From
some years
she has made a thorough study of the polymer clay and dollmaking,
in which she has found her fulfilment, because a one-of-a-kind
doll involves a lot of tecniques like sculpture, painting, hair -
styling and dressmaking. She loves to give a name to hers
fairies, a story or a ballad.
On
the magazine "La Bacchetta Magica" No. 31, January
2003,
there's an article with her works.
She
lives in Rome where she keeps some handicraft classes.
